WHY OUR WORK MATTERS

Building a Stronger Siouxland

For many immigrants and refugees, building a new life involves navigating unfamiliar systems, learning how to access local services, overcoming language barriers, and understanding complex immigration processes.

Without the right information and support, these challenges can become overwhelming.

Siouxland Immigration Services helps bridge these gaps by connecting people with reliable information, practical assistance, and community resources.

When newcomers have the opportunity to access services, build stability, and participate in their communities, the entire Siouxland region becomes stronger.

We believe inclusion strengthens communities, and that everyone has something valuable to contribute.

Questions

Answers before you call.

The questions families ask us most. If yours is not here, ask us: there is no wrong question.

Is Siouxland Immigration Services Inc. a law firm?

Siouxland Immigration Services Inc. is a nonprofit immigration law office. Our team includes licensed immigration attorneys and representatives accredited by the U.S. Department of Justice, so we can give legal advice and represent you before USCIS.

What does a consultation cost?

Screening calls are free. A full legal consultation is $50, and we waive it for any family who cannot pay. Application fees charged by USCIS are separate, and we file fee waivers whenever you qualify.

I am undocumented. Is it safe to contact you?

Yes. What you tell us is confidential and protected by attorney client privilege. We do not share your information with immigration enforcement, and we will tell you honestly what options may be open to you.

How do I book a consultation?

Choose a time on our booking page, call us, or walk in during office hours. You will get a confirmation with the date, time, format and what to bring.

Are your translations accepted by USCIS?

Yes. Every certified translation comes with a signed certificate of accuracy that meets USCIS requirements, and a second linguist checks the work before it is delivered.
